We get excited about what we do.

We love what we do and it shows in our work. We’re not ashamed to say that we get excited about “boring stuff” like Data Analytics and Strategy. It’s the brainiac in us. We help corporate and not-for-profit organizations maximize their marketing ROI by providing seven services - individually or as integrated programs.

Services: The 7even Essentials

Data Analytics & Strategy

We help clients develop effective, fact-based marketing strategies, identifying the most promising target segments and the most powerful motivators our clients can offer them.

This may involve:

  • Analyzing company data and existing research
  • Sourcing and analyzing available market data
  • Developing proprietary data through original surveying, interviewing or other methodologies

Brand Positioning for Sustainable Competitive Advantage

At Group 7even, we look beyond the typical definition of a brand as a promise – after all, in an era of cheap promises that come and go, achieving a truly sustainable competitive advantage requires something more durable and self-evident. We use data-centric and qualitative tools to identify your "brand truth" – the combined rational and emotional benefits that ring true with your prospects, which you deliver more thoroughly than your competition.

Working with Group 7even, you will be able to establish:

  • the benefit matrix most meaningful to your prospect
  • your competition’s location within that matrix
  • your most advantageous position in that competitive landscape

Targeted Creative Development

Our data-centric strategic and positioning development allows us to create an appealing brand voice and have it speak directly to the concerns of specific target segments. Our aim is to create meaningful, on-going, two-way conversations that in turn create relationships which are beneficial to all.

Every client’s communication mix is different, but may include:

  • Brand Identity: naming, visual identity (logo, graphic standards), defining brand personality and establishing brand voice
  • Websites: design, development, SEO, blogging support
  • Collateral: Brochures, sales and trade show materials
  • Direct Mail: From contact strategies and list development to production and letter-shop management
  • Email Marketing: Permission-based promotional and informational (e.g., newsletter) marketing
  • Advertising: Online and traditional (print, radio, TV)
  • Social Media: integration of social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others

Converged Technology Implementation

Group 7even combines strategic marketing insight with hands-on technological expertise to advise clients on the optimal convergence of technologies for most efficiently achieving their marketing goals.

This combined expertise allows us to help clients:

  • More effectively utilize existing knowledge bases for strategic and planning purposes
  • Create integrated processes for tracking campaign response
  • Evolve and optimize all campaign elements
  • Streamline the overall marketing operation

Whether integrating existing systems or helping implement the use of solutions such as ECM, CRM, VoIP, SMS (and even custom software development), Group 7even gives clients the ability to leverage the best of current marketing technologies.

Campaign Measurement

Working with Group 7even, measuring marketing success starts long before the first responses come in. Starting with strategic development and continuing through creative execution and campaign implementation, we:

  • Benchmark success: By assessing past programs and data we establish a benchmark for success, a goal to meet…and beat
  • Create a motivating internal call to action: We work to invest management and employees in the brand promises which they will have to support and deliver if any campaign is to be successful
  • Develop a compelling external call to action: Every piece of communication should offer a compelling reason for prospects to respond and get involved, and provide easy mechanisms to do so
  • Implement easy-to-use tracking: Whether we are providing regular reports or equipping clients to track results in real time, Group 7even provides sophisticated, but simple-to-understand, tools for ongoing campaign measurement

ROI Analysis

Effective marketing is never ultimately an expense – it’s an investment. At Group 7even, we work with each client to maximize their return on that investment.

We:

  • Create response-generating communications and programs
  • Establish a value for each response
  • Track the responses, comparing the value of responses to the cost of communications

Our ROI analysis quantifies the value of your marketing efforts. It’s the heart of measurable marketing – and one of the big reasons clients come to Group 7even.

Campaign Optimization & Predictive Analytics

We believe that even the best marketing programs can – and should – get better. Group 7even is committed to the ongoing measurement and analysis of each campaign to drive refinements in targeting, format, messaging, timing… in short, all of the variables that impact response and boost ROI.

By consistently tracking campaign development over time and applying predictive analytics, we also help clients anticipate and leverage the most likely (and profitable) target behaviors, setting the stage for significantly enhanced response rates in future programs.

We brought in Group 7even following several years of declining annual fundraising campaigns. Within a short time they developed a strategic marketing plan to help us identify key growth areas and reposition United Way of LaPorte County.

This plan became the foundation and roadmap for every campaign tactic, initiative and activity. For the first time in our history, we were able to present a clear, concise message that distinguished us from our competition in the non-profit sector and targeted every demographic group in our area of service.

In 2007 (the first year following implementation of the marketing plan), annual campaign revenues grew by 25%. Revenues continued to grow in 2008 by another 5%, despite an economy in severe decline. These results were nothing short of amazing!

Group 7even has breathed new life into our organization.
